What started as something fun to do at 11 years old fizzled out over time, but then started fresh once again at 20. The Rebel T5 I originally bought for an international trip turned into a desire for possibly more. I went on plenty of photoshoots and got in all the practice that I could.
A year and a half later of just having fun, I moved with my family to the Treasure Valley of Idaho. I enjoyed life, took photos of nature and landscapes, and focused on my degree and corporate job.
Fast forward to 2022 when some church friends asked me to take their engagement and wedding photos - something totally out of my wheelhouse - and the dream came back to life.

The Style
Each session will include a complimentary style guide to equip you for the best color palette, to produce the photos you dream about.
My goal is to be true to color and tone. To accomplish the same look again and again, we want to have palettes which create bold photos while still complimenting soft golden tones.
During the shoot, my boyfriend and I were nervous and unsure of how to pose or act. After Carah talked with us a bit and really got to know us, we were able to relax and she was able to capture our most candid selves perfectly! Her editing style made us look amazing without sacrificing our true selves. We are so truly happy with our pics, thank you Carah!!

Carah is amazing at what she does, she isn't just a photographer behind a camera lens, she's a miracle worker who puts her heart and soul into her passion! She recently took some lifestyle pictures of my husband and I with our new born, let me say it was a bit of a challenge with a baby that hadn't napped and wouldn't keep his bottle down, but Carah worked her magic, got the baby to smile, all the while assuring us that we could take our time and have as many breaks as needed.
